2014 Barcelona Festivalet
Last Sunday we went to Barcelona because I really wanted to go to Festivalet. It’s a C’est une fair which takes place every year in December and this year was the 7th instance. The fair is located in the Maritime Museum, right next to the Ramblas.
You can find lots of different designers who sell hand made or small scale manufactured objects. The entrance fee is 1€. Most of these people also sell online so if you did not get to go, here are some of the designers that we liked (the entire list is on the website of the festivalet):
- RronRron (small boxes for cats)
- Lelelerele (stuffed toys for children)
- Frida Stierchen (toys for children)
- Olivia (organic soaps and candles)
- Mamapot (meringues, chocolates etc…)
- Heroine Paper Goods (stationery shop)
Prices are quite high but there are still some affordable stuff and there are really cute things. We actually managed to find some Christmas presents 🙂 If you wanna go one day, we advise you to take cash as very few people take the credit card there!
In addition to designers, there were some street food vans, currently in fashion in Barcelona, as well as organic snacks, which was great for us.
We went by car and managed to find free parking not too far, real luck!
You can of course go by tube because the Drassanes stop is just nearby. After this we walked on the Ramblas and the streets around.
